Working on Jackie Robinson. I over did his highlights, so I’ll need to go back and work up the shadows a bit. Trying to vary the skin tones to reflect them as they appeared. Challenging for guys who mostly appear in black and white photos, or 60s color pics that are quite yellowed and faded.

Moving on to Jesse Owens.

That's a big challenge for me. Trying to do these justice! I'm really trying to dedicate a few years to learning acrylics, but the oils may come out for final shading.

So close! Hopefully I’ll wrap these up tomorrow. Nap, a lot of airbrush on Chapel’s skin. I brushed in shadows and highlights then went back and smoothed the transitions over with the airbrush.

Progress on Chapel and the Romulan commander. I’m going to try some crazy OSL on the Romulan to have fun, wish me luck!

All the base colors are down, on to the details! I tried Scale 75’s new ‘Drop and Paint’ set on these and I’m a fan.
