    Acrylic or Oil equivalencies

Thanks to both of you. I think that I'll have to find some properly printed printed charts to work from because when I tried to look at downloaded charts there was some variation in colors because of the limitations in how they've been scanned/produced/uploaded. Time to go to a real art shop...

    Acrylic or Oil equivalencies

Hi, Does anyone know of a chart that can give equivalencies between oil colors and acrylics from any of the main manufacturers? I've been reading about painting horses from an art book and it uses oil paints with the standard names like Payne's Grey, Jaune Brilliant, Mars Orange, etc. I'm...

What a great figure of a rarely covered area. Fantastic piece and 90mm is great. When you have time please tell us more about availability and some references for painting. I wouldn't know where to start on this. Thanks for sharing. Gerry

    AK interactive Tint Inc. 01

An update on this. It is now available in the app but not where you might think. To purchase it, open the AK Interactive app, select "Books", then select the category "Modeling" and it's the first item in that section. Gerry

    Stormtroopers New Releases

Both great pieces. I especially like the sculpt from Carl, and I love the fact that you're using the new and the old techniques in your range. I notice that the image refers to "Alan Ball" rather than Albert. A Freudian slip perhaps? Are you planning a sculpt of a young midfielder from 1966...

    Hidalgo-Beneito new releases pre-order

Awesome! What a magnificent vignette. So full of character and drama that you can sense the plight and resolve of the legionnaires at the same time. I look forward to seeing it painted with the OSL effect to emulate the painting. Congratulations to Beneito. Gerry

HIMINI "Roman March, 1st century AD"

Looking forward to getting my kit, and I've been thinking about the painting. I've managed to find a couple of great references in my library, but I was interested in 3 particular things: 1. The drinking canteen looks like it was usually metal with no wood. Is that how the sculptor imagined...
