It could be as simple as they put a Dullcoate label on a can of glosscoate by accident. See what it looks like sprayed on some practice plastic. Just a thought...

Manfred only flew one D-VII, a very early version to order for his men. It was one plane, one time! He was dead before they took to combat, unfortunate.

If its the Eduard kit, I have built it. Its good you are swapping heads because it is not a good likeness. the rest is alright except the cane and its attatchment point. Fairly rare kit and was good practice for me since I`m new at painting figures. If you remove the cane head, I beleive it...
