    Drying times

How long does it take for oils to fully dry? I ask because I tried putting a glaze of paint thinned with turpentine on a model that I hadn't touched for a week and in one place the oil paint under the glaze started lifting. Now I daren't go to the glaze stage that I wanted to on the model for...

    Centurus clone

My centurus. This is one of those times when you like a model but by the time you finish it you never want to see it again y'know? I lost count of the number of times I knocked this over and had to re-glue his arm. I was trying to capture the idea that a centurus is a prestigious clone, so...

    Vallejo drying retarder

Personally for me I find all slow dry mediums make the paint too thick to work with very comfortably at small scales. I also find that for some reason the colours dry duller.

    Mi last fantasy mini...

It is a shockingly good piece and a deserved winner. The face in particular breaks the boundaries of what I previously considered possible at 30mm scale.

    illyad game mini finishted

Astonishing, just astonishing. I'd be very grateful if you would give details as to how you painted that- it looks like wet blending.

    40 K warrior

Simply astonishing. There's hardly any indication as to the scale of that model- it looks way larger than 30mm and thats the mark of an incredible modeller and painter in my opinion.
