New release of Trigger from Nutsplanet!

Modern, semi-steampunk - interesting. I agree about the legs - they need a bit more 'interest' with some muscular definition.

    Nocturna News

They're all nice, but the 'girls' are exceptional. I'll have to wait to see if the 'girls' are in the regular store. If I can't use PayPal, I'm not buying. Sorry.

    Fringes on buckskin 90 m

You might try mixing either Apoxie Sculpt or Magic Sculpt with Knead-a-tite, about 60/40 and roll it out very thin. Let it begin hardening (it won't take long) before you make the cuts with a new, very sharp blade. The mixture will be less fragile than straight Milliput (which I've tried and...

    Leather (Tricorn) Tutorial

Thanks for the S-B-S. Nice to see I'm not the only one who tests colors on his thumb or fingernail...

    News from Stalingrad

If memory serves (and at my age, that's always problematic!), we've seen the 75mm figure previewed. I liked it then and I still like it. (But, honey - I think it looks like you!) The other two are interesting; maybe the 'girl with gun' in a Zombie Apocalypse setting. ..

    Cloth shading examples...excellent!

But, honey...these are for some figures I want to paint...

    Home Front Heroes

Very nice! There needs to be more civilian figures of all eras, but especially WWII, when it seems that every German soldier who ever served has been modeled.

Reedoak added a second WW2 civilian boy to his collection

Interesting line of figures - especially the civilians. I'm sure it's easier to print them out if the hands are in the pockets, but unless some sculpting is done to create new arms and hands (which is within my comfort zone), it does limit their uses. Nevertheless, I have a couple of projects...

Young 40' civilian boy nearing completion

Very nice. There aren't many well-done civilian figures available, if you're contemplating commercial aspects. MK35 has some, but more are always welcome.

    "Surfer Girl"

That's nice. If commercially produced, I'd probably be interested. If you go with the wetsuit, the more enterprising (like me!) could do a little sanding and putty work for a bikini.

New Release from BrokenToad Resin Cast

Thanks for the explanation. If the skull had been larger, more to scale with that wonderful sculpt, a title could've been: "Vanity, Vanity, All is Vanity"

New Release from BrokenToad Resin Cast

Wonderful sculpting, but the scale of the skull versus the woman's head - and the title - is she looking at a/her child's skull? Despite the sculpting, fairly creepy - or am I missing something?

    The Beauty and the Beast

Excellent! Great work and a marvelous way to display it.

    Lilith

Very, very nice work. Shading, highlighting, contrasting, wonderfully done. The plinth is perfect for it

    THE WITCH HUNTER - Scale75

A beautiful, long-legged girl in boots with a sword - what's not to like?

    54mm Dimension Hop Tesla

Very nice! It's good to see a well-sculpted female kit that doesn't have two all-but exposed volleyballs stuck on her chest as an afterthought. The pose of the cast figure is slightly different than the 3-D rendering, or is that because the left leg isn't in place? The attitude is subtle...

    Beautiful!

    WWII Civilians

The little boy holding the toy is from a photograph of the Blitz; very poignant photo. These figures have so many possibilities and uses. The girl with the bucket could be carrying a suitcase with the woman and child (with a new cap or hat) which could be used in an evacuation of children from...

    BRAVO-6 new kits

I really like the photographer. Oriana Fallaci is a good idea. What about Dickey Chappelle? She covered Iwo Jima and Okinawa battles during WWII, the Hungarian Revolt and Vietnam. She was killed in Vietnam in 1965. The first female reporter killed in action as well as the first female war...

    WWI British Postman

A different and unusual subject. Like it!
