Hi All,

I made this figure from a Scalelink head and legs. The rest was scratchbuilt. I enjoyed modelling the trenchcoat and unusual postbag.

Nice one Victor

Nice subject also intrigued about the nameplate ?

At least the post got through to the troops , so vital for morale of course

Thanks for sharing

So nice to see a military postie finally here. I have a personal interest in this as I was an army postie myself for 11 years and very proud of this I am too. You've made a nice job of this. Just for information the postal service was run by the Royal Engineers up until 1993 when the newly formed Royal Logistic Corps took over. (RLC or Really Large Corps as they were affectionately known) your little guy was probably what we posties called the post orderly. Men from different units were used to collect and distribute the mail to their own units.
Nice to see. Thanks.
John
