    U.S. Marine, WWII.

Nice work. I have the same kit, just haven't gotten around to it. It was from 'New World Miniatures' and sculpted by special effects legend John Rosengrant. Had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with John a few times at some SCAHMS shows; a pleasant, friendly person and an amazingly...

Good looking figure, Mike. Wish I could be at Chicago - hope you have a great show. Jim

The 'Red Lancers' People Amazed Me

Chuck and his crew are top-notch, classy folks. I've happily dealt with them for many years.

    Harbinger of Death by Galapagos

Macabre, amazing sculpt. Just as is, it's stunning. Can't wait to see it painted as it has so many possibilities. One title could be: "Death Rides a Pale Horse"

    Robin Hood

Terry No 75mm figures that I know about. The only ones I remember are a 54mm from Andrea with a Costner-esque face (hated the movie), a Verlinden 120mm with an awkward positioning of the arms and a Warriors 120mm (long out of production) of an Errol Flynn type pose (Welcome to Sherwood!) from...

DRUSILA, THE WITCH OF THE WOODS - (Scale75)

Look out! It's my ex-wife! Nice sculpting and painting.

    Buildings

John's advice is spot on. It appears that some of the ruins are chunks of brick, so they should be different dull shades of red; brighter red where the bricks have broken to expose the interior. A wash of greyish-white can be run between the bricks for mortar, but don't use white and paint it...

Nice, healthy girl! Very nice work.

Nice work. How were the fit and seams? Lots of sanding and filling? Thanks.

    Masterbox (Ukraine) - News

Oh...there's so many lines I could say regarding "Bob's" pose with his hand in his pocket... But, I won't... I don't want to be banned from the site!

Completed Critique Shiary, from Draconia, 75mm

That's nicely done! I've got a couple of Draconia figures - looks like I'll be getting another.

    News NAIM Front 46

Usually the 'Maschinen Krieger' stuff doesn't do much for me - I admire the imagination and skill, but I wouldn't build or paint them... However...this one has real possibilities! (y)

    ALTORES STUDIO

Lovely figure and pose. I'd like seeing it around 120mm and a full figure. These 3/4 figure/busts don't do it for me.

    Project Alice

That's nice work. I have the Black Veil kit and I'm looking forward to building and painting it. I might've put the girl facing the zombies - and the viewer. The zombies would be approaching her (backs to the viewer, or angled as she contemplates which one to deal with first - maybe both at the...

    Ruff Trade

Del, I've gone through all my issues of HM - I have a full set, including the only 'on-line' issue (that I'm aware of). I cannot find the article, for love or money, but I know I NEVER loaned any of them out. It bugs me that I got your hopes up and now I can't deliver. As I remember, Alan...

    Ruff Trade

As I remember, the very talented Alan Ball did a s-b-s sculpt of a 'Tulip Guard' in a 'Historical Miniatures' magazine a number of years ago. In it, he sculpted a ruff as part of the figure. I did a scratchbuilt 1/9th-scale Shakespeare for a box diorama project (Okay, I didn't sculpt the head...
