Does anyone know of a casting that is currently available of Robin Hood please? I prefer something around 75mm, but realize the size/scale may be limited. If you have a figure in your gray army and want to sell it, don't hesitate to chime in.

Terry
No 75mm figures that I know about. The only ones I remember are a 54mm from Andrea with a Costner-esque face (hated the movie), a Verlinden 120mm with an awkward positioning of the arms and a Warriors 120mm (long out of production) of an Errol Flynn type pose (Welcome to Sherwood!) from the 1939 (?) Warner Brothers movie (Errol Flynn, Basil Rathbone, Olivia DeHavilland, Alan Hale, Claude Rains - it doesn't get better than that!).
Good luck in your search.

Jim, Thanks for the info. I recall the Andrea one. Might be on the small side for these old eyes. Discovered a series of books on Robin Hood and would love to paint something of Robin Hood. I think LaTorre did a figure, but I can't find it on the internet at my favorite shopping site-The Red Lancers. Maybe folks outside the US will know of a source or have a kit they are willing to sell.:)

Thanks for your note. Appreciate it! Have a great one. It's Friday all over the world and the best day of the work week unless one has to work thru the weekend.

All the Best, Terry

Tom W, Yes, I recall the I/R series very much. Recall seeing it painted up years ago as well. Their castings are very rough these days.

I am not aware of La Fortezza...Will check it out...

I would love to get the LaTorre kit. Maybe it will be released since he is back in business...Does anyone who knows how I can contact LaTorre on the kit? Does he have a website up? Does anyone have a LaTorre kit they would be willing to part with?

Thanks for the info as it is much appreciated. The comments and feedback from the figure community certainly helps in tracking down a theme and kit.

Just wanted to note that I found the Elite Miniatures, Robin Hood figure I was searching for....Big shout out to Tommi Worton for selling me a member of his gray army!

Lattore's Robin Hood is probably the best of them all indeed. It would be worth checking out La Fortezza's version at a later date.It is sculpted by Gianpierro Russo and it is fabulous.

Oda.

Reading my old Campaign-magazines I found an advertisement from the old company "Bivouac" with the Picture of a very static figure of RH.PF-member Mirosoft can say something about this company, perhaps.

My favourite Robin Hood figure is the La Fortezza one by Gianpiero Russo - I have one undercoated and ready to paint.
