Got back to figure painting during Christmas, La Fortezza 54mm white metal figure, i will use Andrea and Vallejo acrylics to paint this, also will make a base from styrofoam.

Actually your photos are good quality, as is your figure. Very well painted & groundwork is nicely done also. I have this same figure in my stash, waiting for that spark to get it painted.

You are right about the chainmail, it's very shallow, especially on left hand, pose is great and i like the subject very much too.

After few months pause, i started this Andreas 54mm piece. I have been modelling 1/35 afvs and restoring my 1962 Volvo Amazon also this summer. I have been thinking using enamels to paint this, plenty of Humbrol tins in store (most of them nearly 30 years old!) , inspired by Bill Horans Military...

Hecker & Goros 54mm white metal figure painted with Andrea and Vallejo acrylics, groundwork is made from wall filler, fine sand, Verlinden static grass and some tufts from Mini Natur. Cannonball is made from Green Stuff putty.

Figure is finished now, I already started working the base, mahogany stain first, then simple groundwork with a cannonball to give an idea he belongs to artillery branch.

Went quiet for two weeks, but now slowly making this ready, not much painting left but I need to build a base for this. Happy Easter to all!
