Arrived this morning, what you see is what you get(y) Minimal prep required, 15 minutes with a razor saw and some sanding sticks. Cast and fit both excellent, I'll be running some thinned down filler on some joints purely for aesthetic reasons rather than necessity. Big painting challenge given...

Kieths dead right about weight distribution. From the photo it looks as though the shelf supports are a bit delicate you might also have a problem here particularly if you move your heavier pieces to the far sides.. For peace of mind I'd epoxy a ledge all the way round for the shelf to sit on...

Copyright is a minefield and it's simpler to seek permission in advance. You may well find that what you propose is straightforward as compared to copying anothers painting or text. D.
