In he early 2000s I drifted away from larger scale round figures because there's weren't that many on the market for the period I was interested in. I tended to focus on flat figures to plug the gaps and while my back was turned and Paypal became popular round figures from European manufactures...

Still WIP because not sure about how the base with look because I've not done a figure that sort of hangs in the air given the steps and part wall. May be I need to move the steps and well scene back to the edge of the base and then fill up the base with foliage, grateful for advice re the base...

I've put the Tommy's War Bombardier figure I already as a dry run and it seems to look ok but can anyone tell me how the rope thingy works on the horse and do they come ready made for 54mm scale, cos I have trouble tying shoe laces (I am left handed)!! Cheers Roy
