Captain Gaetan Joseph Prosper – adc of Bessières Pegaso Models

Whilst it is a lovely kit, and is a welcome release, the price will put people off.

    An idea for a figure?

And apparently nobody is more adept at this than Mr T. I gather he's well known for going after people. If you're just talking about a single figure for your own use and not making money etc, I'm sure you'll be fine. Apparently the bloke thinks he owns the ACW...

Just for fun: one day in history

An almost impossible question to answer. If you put a gun to my head and I had to pick just one day.... VE day celebrations in London. I think the sheer sense of relief on its own must've been unreal. Either there or Bolton, where I'm given to understand the steps in front of Bolton Town...

    Cpl, 4th US (regular) infantry

Like a fine wine, Bob, your painting skills are improving with age. No doubt about it. His eyes are worth the entrance fee alone, along with your rendering of the black leather work. Superb, mate. (y)

US Army Infantry NCO , Combat medic 1944

Super painting, Steve. It really is. Sometimes the most rewarding figures are the ones you pull out of the skip. Some people wish I'd kept mine in there! As you rightly say, photographing figures is almost another hobby in itself.

    Roy Hunt Samurai flat

My dear old friend Roy sculpted and produced this about 15 years ago (I think!) Not long after, I had a stab at painting him. You may still be able to get hold of one through E Greco Miniatures, I'm not sure. Anyway, painted in oils about 15 years ago. Basically, I found him in the back of a...

These are excellent for anyone wanting to scratch build their own figure. A 'Jason & the Argonauts' vignette springs to mind, too. A great release.
