Keeping out off all wars since 1814 is quiete an achievement, too. (We should not totally neglect more peaceful subjects, for that matter.) Very nice sculpt of one of my favorite periods in history. You are being extremely efficient these days.

That is a great pity. Maybe you could find a good painter willing to try his hands on your sculpts. There are examples of very successful co-operation along those lines.

Try mixing some Green Stuff (otherwise called Kneadadite) into the Milliput, works wonders to enhance the sculpting qualities. Try different mixtures.

Historex is not 54 mm though, rather 58-60 mm (in case you are looking for 'true' 1/32 scale).
