Thank you all for your feedback. Simon, BeesPutty bakes at 130 degrees for half an hour. I have baked figures with resin boots without any detrimental effect. I can't vouch for plastic however.

Here is a commission piece of a 54mm Royal Horse Artillery trumpeter from 1935. Sculpted in: BeesPutty (pale green), MagicSculp/Duro mix (darker green) and MagicSculp (white) There are a couple of tweeks to finish it. He does have a banner for his trumpet, but the photo seems to have disappeared!

Here are some smudgy snaps of a one-off piece I recently finished. It depicts a British surgeon the day after the Battle of Waterloo. The starting point for this were some photos of doctors during covid I found on line. They were shown at the end of a shift, sitting, leaning forward, exhausted...

Lovely work Melanie, the whole piece works well. As mentioned by others above the differences between the gold finishes are excellent.
