    Brother Vinni: Blacksmith

Great piece. I may have to have this one. My Grandfather, Charles Mead, was a Blacksmith in Harrisburg, Missouri. He was five foot four inches tall with arms like cords of steel. I have great memories of going to his shop when I was a kid. When they sold the shop (and tore it down) right before...

Completed 150mm Trumpet Major,Chasseurs à cheval de la Garde

Mike, Understood, however I still think the boots would show some crease lines as the pants show folds etc. Still a beautiful piece. The braid work is outstanding. Gary

Beautiful work! My only criticism would be the feet (boots). No distinction between right and left. Just doesn't look right.

    Completed 1/35 Tamiya IJA fun

Really awesome job on this old kit. IJA tanks are a neglected subject which is a shame as their color schemes are as much fun to replicate a the German schemes. IMHO. Great job!

Thanks Mobo! I got the set from Marco55 about a year and a half ago. When I did the research on the uniforms I was hooked. I've always wanted to try a palm tree as well so everything fit into place a I had some real fun with this. Oniria makes a variety of great western vignettes too so one of...

    Camel Corp

Finished this Camel Corp vignette by Oniria Miniatures back in February. It's a 30mm feature of the Gordon relief column to Khartom in the Sudan 1883. Painted mainly with AK and Vallejo acrylics. Had a blast building the date palm tree. Oniria Miniatures are 28mm figures but they are...
