Historex ROCKS! I have a great deal of Historex dating back all the way to my childhood. Of all the things that I have lost to time, these small pieces of plastic was not one of them. Great work so far, very interested in seeing this finished. Paul

What I really like about this bust, is the dynamic composition it expresses. Most times it is very difficult to get nature involved with a static figure, much less a bust, but having the wind blowing and moving his clothing really seems to make it more tangible to the viewer. Paul

Thanks for all the tips, I tried oils before and did ok with them. I am looking for more contrast and not losing highlights and shadow colors.
