Talking about books. What happened to Mike Blanks new book he was talking about. Did I miss the release? :unsure:

I like these a lot. Gives you many ideas for different scenes. Personally I would like to see more of untraditional builds in general. A good little diorama doesn't necessary need to have people in it to be fascinating and interesting to watch.(y)

John, it makes me very happy that Sheperd Paines name is mentioned in one of your post. Lets not forget this extraordinary man who had such an influence on many of us in our community throughout the years. I still treasure his books "How to build Dioramas" and "Building and Painting Scale...

Daniele, these are just wonderful. I like seeing a bit of different sculpting ideas and not just soldiers. You did a great and innovating job with these ones.

Now that is beautiful sculpting. I like that one a lot. So much expression in a very relaxed pose.

Good one Jeff! Excellent I should say. This is what i want....(and see more of from other sculptors) ...a figure in a natural and relaxed posture (albeit expressive), not exaggerated overworked dynamic in scene and bodylanguage. Although in a diorama it is ok.

This is a great sculpt, i like it a lot. You can put it in a nice surrounding/set up/diorama. Good luck with this one, will be interesting to see how it turns out.

I wonder if this movie will generate even more interesting figures about this war and its units. I hope so. There are so many variations between the different nations and the military units within, Especially in the beginning of the war, with many pre-war details. And I am very happy that Jeff...

I never get tired of seeing your sculpting. These are just great. And what would be wondeful to wish for, a WIP from you Jeff, when doing one of your soldiers, I think that would be much appreciated. Please!! :)

That is impressive!! Is it just me, but i have the feeling that painting a big figure like this is more difficult, since its so obvoius if the paint isnt right. More chance for failure, but maybe also more reward if you can pull it off masterly. I would like to try it, but it is also a bit...
