Mike, I did a couple of WW1 figures under a different banner, and a conversion of the Officer to Michael Collins in the Irish Army uniform. I subsequently sold the masters to Steve Warrilow of the Fusilier.

My latest completed figure. Reworked casting of a 54mm figure I made some 30 years ago.

Thanks for the positive comments. Nap - all my own work, old school - Milliputt and whatever came in handy. The pistol was made of aluminum sheet, 2 thicknesses of wire (one might have been a needle), the revolver bit was part of a cocktail stick, and of couse Milliputt. Alex

I have just about finished these 2 figures. The US Cavalry studio photo is about 100mm and the Irish figure bust about 200mm. They both need a bit of "snagging".

This started life as the HLI figure attached, I made it some years ago. Fortunately I took some moulds and so could make resin castings. The chair originally was an acrylic laser cut. As a retired Product Design teacher the pistol should have best been made with CAD and 3D printing. But, I...

Forgot to mention 1/24th 75mm

Latest scratchbuilt figure. Mostly made in Milliputt and painted in Andrea and Vallejo acrylics. Titled "Forest Booty" it depicts an incident in the Ardennes. Still managing to keep Parkinson's at bay. Alex

Many thanks for the encouraging comments. The armoured flash in 54mm was indeed very fiddly. I had to have several goes at it.

Another model I recently revamped. This is a Chota Sahib figure I originally painted some 30+ years ago. I added more detail and a new background.

Thanks for the comments guys. Unfortunately diagnosed with Parkinson's about 4 years ago, so the clock is ticking and I don't know how long I can keep this up.

Some images of recent work completed in lockdown. Ox and Bucks 75mm scratchbuilt in mostly Milliput. Sten is made from aluminium tube, steel pin, brass sheet, detail in Milliput. Bricks - PVC foamboard. Helmet - whitemetal from earlier Cheshire Volunteer casting with old net curtain stretched...

Nearly finished 75mm figure, still in bits but nearly ready for painting, needs a final clean up. Mostly Milliput, any visible castings are from my own earlier work. His left foot rests on the wall his helmet is on. The sten will be slung over his right shoulder.
