An old Cheshire Volunteer figure of mine I'd never painted. The theme is "Where is He?", as in where has the sentry gone.

Hi Alex

Great to see your artwork ...and a old but really nice figure , hard to believe the scale , he certainly looks like a MP

Good uniform colour as well

Why not also enter FOTM and vote in previous month as well

Thanks for sharing

Happy benchtime

But a few of them have partaken of too many pies to look realistic as WW2 soldiers.......

Can't argue that at all Chris. I would say the same for a lot who cover US Airborne - C-47 doors were only so wide!. I gave up on military re-enactment when the wife said to me "don't you think you look a bit old for that kit". She was right of course. Just do civilian now.

Nice job on a tidy little figure. RMP/CMP - funny, even the re-enactors (and there are quite a few on the circuit) are evil beggars. :cautious:

Some very gallant soldiers too - among the last defenders of the Hartenstein Hotel in the Oosterbeek perimeter at Arnhem were 1st Airborne Div Provost Company. The Company was completely wiped out.
