Honestly I don't know why all of the toy industry uses it. A good friend was big in that business and thats how I got started with this medium. Having never had much success with the other stuff I can't say witch is more practical.

Gordy, Mike Good lives a couple of towns down the road from me. I was talking to him a few months ago about this, he doesn't use wax. I have tried to use the other materials and can't get the hang of it so I keep going back to the wax.

Hi guys, I found this forum searching for "sculpting materials" or something like that on a Google search. I have been working in wax for a number of years while doing toys. Does any here work in wax?
