    Nosferatu: Black Heart Enterprises

I agree. I am working on photography. It's pretty complicated. The skin on him is very pale but the tan background played some tricks on it. Thanks.

    1:1 Wolf Man Completed

Thanks for the comments. Funny you should mention photography. I tried to use my fancy Nikon set up but wound up taking these photos with my cell phone. Go figure. I will look to find an option to flip them. Thanks again.

    Completed Hell Boy

Carl, for the knife handle I applied a dark blue base coat of acrylic paint.. After that dried I took white, black and green acrylic ink and dappled some on random places. When that dried I took some turquoise artist oils and applied randomly. Hard to really see on the pic but the effect...

Completed Teves': Resin; Phantom Of The Opera 1:1

Carl, thanks for uprighting them for me. And also thanks to all for the very generous comments. I only wish Teves had sculpted more of the original Universal monsters. He was contracted to do so but the relationship soured with Universal. He is a very talented artist.

Completed Teves': Resin; Phantom Of The Opera 1:1

I recently picked this up on line. It is one of 900 resin castings done around 1996. It is the companion piece to his Frankenstein bust I posted earlier on this forum. I painted it with acrylics.

    Completed 1:1 Frankenstein

Wow! Considering the talent of the individuals that have responded I am very humbled. I will try to get better photos up if you like. I am experimenting with the camera. The bust was done all in acrylics. I usually use oils on smaller projects, as I am just trying to figure acrylics out. I...

    Completed 1:1 Frankenstein

I know this is not the usual forum for this type of subject, but I took a break from smaller historical figures and took on this large piece just to see if I could. It is a spectacular sculpt from Miles Teves. They made 900 of these resin units back in 1996. I found one in the original box at...

    WIP Back in the saddle

Thanks much for the comments and I agree, the bags under the eyes are a little much and I will back off a tad. I also thought he looks like David Morse after I got some mud on him. I think once I get back into what was once my style things will go better and maybe I can be a more prolific than...

Attached are two shots of the face I am doing for the "Master/Commander bust. One is the eyes and another with my first attempt...
