Hey Guys,

This is a “Prussian Private of the Grenadier Foot Guards,” from DF Military, 230mm.

Napoleonic subjects are not necessarily my first port of call for a project, but this figure has that look of exhaustion that the sculptor has caught just right.

I’ve added coloured ‘summer’ scatter to create a grassy hummock, and the signage is just the village place names printed on to decal paper to give the vignette a more complete look.

Cheers!

Thanks guys. I must get a camera sorted. Tried to improve the lighting a couple of times but still a little ‘out.’

Looks great Robbo, I would say you could have got a bigger base but with the size of the figure I reckon I could get a whole diorama in my scale on it. You really have brought out the exhaustion on his face really well.

Cheers Simon

Actually the base is cast resin with dio details already in place. The road sign is added and of course the figure itself, that is to say it’s all one package.

That makes sense actually, I should have realised that from the start, it's been a hard weekend, that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

Cheers Simon
