“The Desert Fox” c. 1942

Hi all - this one just completed; a 1/9 (1/10?) bust of GFM Erwin Rommel from Alexandros Models, painted in my usual oils and acrylics.

I opted for a white silk scarf seen in a few period photos rather than the heavier knitted wool plaid version as the sculpting “felt” more to me like a thin material than a thicker one (that, and I chickened out!)

Great job, really nice. I have this bust and feel it’s more 1/10 than 1/9 although it states 1/9.

The white is done very well.
