This is the 1/10 "Compassion" produced by Classicae a few years back,
I compleated it a couple of weeks ago, mostly painted in oils, I believe the sculpt has been taken from an actual photo from the Korean War, of two U.S. Soldiers where one has broken down under the strain of warfare & being comforted by a comrade.
Hope you like him.
once again for the poor quality photos.
Cheers
Jimbo

James David Evans ,

You are a busy boy eh ...love the composition of the piece , the uniforms colours are great ...did I see a tear in the eyes as well when it was at BC2011 .

My only thought is that the hands look a little large .....

but the subject is one that must have been played out so many times both in Korea and in more recent conflicts God bless our troops I say (y)(y).

Great work, the scene is very moving and thought provoking.
No one who has experienced it can understand what the men are exposed to stress.

Cheers

Very well done Jimbo. That's a lot of area to cover especially in the tight spots. Gotta love the Large Scale figures and the oils!(y)

Cheers, Ski.:D
