I'm finishing the reworking of the rifle, I think that is more accurate with the picture that Paul upped, but not perfect.

Hello my friends!

After a few days of vacation, I have resumed painting this delicious figure and I have had a small blockage with the painting of the beret, I am not entirely convinced with its result. I have tried to give it a different touch of blue for more variety of tones and avoid monotony.
What do you think of the result?
The upper part of the figure is practically finished.

It looks OK to me, slightly different shade which is what you were after, only thing I could suggest would a little more blending between shade and highlight to emphasise the softness of the cloth. All in all it looks damned good to me.

No don't redo it, it looks good just needs a little more subtlety in the blending. It's good as it is mate so don't over think it.
