I've just ordered from China one of Takom's wonderful 1/16th Renault Light Tank kits.
I won't get it on the workbench for quite some time as I have a long queue of other projects to start first.
At the moment I'm just doing some initial investigations but I would like to add a figure (or two) to it, I know that Jon Smith Modelbau do a nice line in WWI figures but, sadly no tank crew men.
Perhaps it doesn't have to be a driver or gunner, maybe a French soldier looking at the tank admiringly.
Does anyone out there know who makes suitable figures?

Hi Dave

I would have a look at Model Cellar they released a tanker drinking from a wine bottle , sure there's others french troops

Lovely model as well

Stalingrad do some crackers but in 1/35th

Hope this might help

Thank you both for your suggestions, I have a feeling that when the time comes it might be something from Jon Smith that I go for.
I was looking a while back at what's available through Historex and was very impressed by what I saw, in fact I made a purchase, only a small one, 5 tiny but beautiful little frogs in 1/16th.
Thanks for your feedback

There's this one from Verlinden.

And this one from Model Master.

And years before Takom released these injection molded kits, Frontline Miniatures and ADV released resin versions of the FT17.

Wow, I had no idea that there was so much out there.
I've bookmarked several of these figures and when the time comes, I will have a look at which ones are available.
Many thanks to you all.
