Gents, I'm gonna have to brag on this kit for a bit if yall dont' mind.

It arrived way faster than expect, #1., then upon opening, it was far beyond what I expected; clean, crisp and highly detailed. Now, if this was James' first sculpt, then we can only expect more incredible work in the future. I ran this fig across my stash of 1/16th kits, proportionally and detail wise, he's nailed the mark and the detail is impeccable! I'm impressed beyond ecstatic at his first run as a marketable sculptor. I do like this kit!

So, if this kit fills the bill for you Gents, he's got my endorsement as a "paint sniffin, finger gluin" Rugby Fan. Make your own call Gents, but he's impressed me with his first run, period!

Cheers, Ski.

I too want to give a positive feedback. A++
My figure also came in faster than I expected. Included with a personal thank you note. The sculptor is very humble, stating that this was his first model sculpt and please don't be disappointed. That he will try better in the next project. The figure is beautiful, top-notch quality cast and sculpting. I can not wait to see what his next subject is.
HIGHLY recommended to the WWII fan.

Received mine this morning. An absolute belter of a figure, cast crisply and cleanly. It will be a joy to paint. If you are interested in WWII figures and/or U.S. Airborne figues specifically, do yourself a favour and order one.

I make no apologies for bumping this thread back to the top of the pile after 2 months, Mr. Jeong is a very talented sculptor and deserves to have his work promoted. Hopefully there will be more from him in the future.

1/16scale generally equates to 120mm or 4.7244''.;)
Great figure.(y)

Nope, not so! An average guy in true 1/16th scale is about 110mm in size. 120mm is NOT a scale, but a size. It harkens back to early Verlinden figures which, presumably, were closer to 1/15th scale in size to correspond to some ancient and long forgotten model kits by Bandai. And thus, just as in the smaller figure scales (1/32nd-1/30th-54mm-60mm), the larger scales ands sizes have all been compromised by a profound lack of standardization.

I learned this the hard way. And folks who buy some 120mm kits and some 1/16th scale kits will soon find that they are not necessarily compatible......

I hope this helps!

I received this figure a few weeks ago too, and can heartily agree with Steve Ski, Tiger11, & Babelfish! If your a WWII US Paratrooper fan, this figure is for you. The sculpt is fantastic and the casting is first rate. I HIGHLY recommend this kit.
