Hello everyone.

I present you my last work. It's a non-comissioned officer of the Austrian moutain troops on the Italian front in the winter of 1917-18. A veteran of the Russian and Isonzo front.

The scale is 1/24 and the material is Magic sculp.

It's painting time now...

All the best,
Primož

Looks great Primož, very natural looking

Very good pose,
natural sit of posture.
Like how it is of a theatre of war often overlooked beyond the trenches...

I know nothing about mountain climbing and gear, just seems the rope has a bit of an odd sit where it comes down over his shoulder. A minor nit pick really, far superior to what I can currently do though.

thanks for sharing

cheers

Thank you very much for the comments.

Jamie, The rope is made of string rolled around itself and a copper wire. This is as close as I could press it against the body. Maybe I'll use some glue later on when it's painted.

Demchenko, I use 1:24(75mm) scale because I think it's easier to sculpt in it. I don't know, I haven't tried any other scale yet. Maybe someday.

Cheers,
Primož

Primoz,
thanks for that.
It is really a minor thing, and rope can be hard to scale; I think you have done an excellent job of getting so close!!

Really, good figure overall, would like to see the painted and based figure when its done!

Cheers

Cheers Ken
