Hello everyone!

I have finally! finished my new figure. It's a soldier of the Austro-Hungarian Landwehr mountain troops somewhere on the Isonzo(Italian) front in 1916.
The scale is 1:24 and the material is Magic sculp.
I' ll add rifle sling when i paint the figure. Any comments and critiques are welcome.

Cheers,
Primož

Best Wishes and lookiing forward to your paintjob

Well it's only my second fgure so far. I just keep correcting it until i'm not satisfied enough. I used to draw them before,so i kind of know what do I want to achieve.
I only wish I could do it faster:rolleyes:

Hello Primoz,

Its a nice piece of work comparable composition and scale to the JMD WW1 figures, i think i may have a go at sculpting but knowing my luck it would end up looking like a brit kiddies tv charecter called morph !!,

Best RGDS

Kirky :)

Hello Primoz thats a very nice figure you have created.
Have you sculpted the whole figure or have you used commercial head etc.

Steve

Thank you, all! Yes, ww1 Austrians are quite rare so we have to make them ourselves, don't we Robert:) I remember your pilot.

Gary, Dan,thank you. The third figure is on the way. I've been sculpting two at the same time. I hope I'll finish it soon.

Hi Primoz,

Excellent sculpting, a true work of art!

Have you had any sculpting background or artistic training?

Cheers,
Jon.

Thanks, Jonathan. I studied restoration. We did do some sculpting, especialy with clay and plaster but not very much comparing to drawing. We did that much more. I like it both.
