I'm looking for a M1928 Thompson SMG in true 1/32 scale. I thought there must be thousands in the market, but i haven't found any :( . Do you guys know where to get one?. I think I could convert a M1A1, in case no M1928 shows up.

Believe it or not, the Airfix US Army ETO kit does not have a Tommy gun at all in it. However, the 8th. Army Desert Rats kit has an M1928. It's okay, but you can improve its detail with a little bit of work.

John can you tell me more about the Combat Series weapons. I did a search on the VLS site but couldn't find them. -Pat

I couldn't find them either. Maybe Squadron. I know both used to carry them. My apologies, I thought VLS was still the dealer. It would be a shame if they were not available any longer. There were three manufacturers of these lost wax cast items, Cal-Scale, Collector's Brass, and Combat Series. I may be getting them confused with each other.

this kind and not the M1 right?

Uh, Gordy? What's with the Trekkie message - "access denied"? Anyway, here's a picture of the Tommy gun. By the way, thanks again to Leigh Coote for sending it out to me from New Zealand.
