Jim, excellent end result with great painting and groundwork, have enjoyed following and I look forward to your next posts. (y)

Cheers Ken

Thanks Mark, Stephano, Steve and Ken for the compliments!

Mark- My next conversion comes from the Dragon kit German Infantry (Ukraine, summer 1943) kit#6153, guy kneeling. He'll be converted into an SS Sturmmann of Totenkopf, Poland 1944.
I'll post in a day or two. Unfortunately I didn't do the extensive SBS on this guy, but there are a few pic's during the process.

Thanks again!

Jim

Wonderful, this is an amazing example how a simple figure can be converted to a great piece. BTW, I love the texture effect on the jacket and the whole setting looks great!

Well done,
Mario

Hi! Jim.
A wonderful work!!!!!
I think love of your work exists in everything.
And the power of your research is also wonderful.
I liked it very much.
I congratulate completion.

Hi Mark,
Thanks much for the feedback, much appreciated.

Mario,
Appreciate your compliments too! Yes, the tunic does take on a quite interesting texture. I was trying to create a lighter twill look. Thanks again!

Hikaru Mitsutaka,
Thanks for those very kind words and wow, there's a lot of truth to that! I really don't think we could accomplish what we set out to do if there weren't love and compassion for what do! Yes, and research! It's a big part of modeling to me, and I definitely want to share to help my fellow modeler anyway I can. It's all about giving back! Very important to me for sure!

Jim
Thanks again!

Sorry I am so late with reply on this one Jim, but this piece is perhaps my favorite of yours. I like your camo work on the helmet and the Ranger helmet on the ground is a nice touch!
Good job-
Scott
