Italeri has some decent ones. Academy has a tank accessories set that has specific German and allied as well as some modern ones. Bayardi has some, including dented and crushed ones. I think Tamiya also has some correct "after market" ones as well, instead of their 35 year old one-big-fat-handle ones that are included in their older kits.
If you want to make things really top noth, you can use photoetch part from ABER for the 'rim' around the center line (You sandwich PE sheet between the two halves, getting a the rim). I hope this is clear enough...??
Thanks to everyone for spoiling me with choice. Adrian, it's for the SAS in North Africa. Tamiya jeep, and three Evolution figures. But the Tamiya cans have handles as thick as axles. I'll be counting rivets next
