Hi all,

Have not posted much for a while...sort of lost my flow a bit. So, I thought I would convert and sculpt something that I knew I would enjoy.

This figure started life as a Warriors Panzer Grenadier but I changed the K98 to an MG42 from K5 products, I re-sculpted the whole left arm and added a gunners pouch and pistol holster. The tree is made from seafoam and rubber leaves made from etched metal. The base is made in the usual way.

Thanks for looking and look forward to your comments.

Sam B

1/35th MG 42 Gunner; Play it again, Sam. . .

Hi Sam:

Wow, just a very impressive conversion job on that very small 1:35th
Wehrmacht figure. But for me personally, as I've tried scratch built trees
a number of times, the tree and ground cover is as impressive as the figure.
And also, that tree really does draw the eye into the presentation. And it does
so without overpowering the figure. IMHO, not an easy step to pull off.

Play it again, Sam . . . as in meaning, not a tribute to Film Noir and/or
Ingrid Bergman, Humphrey da Man. . . but my meaning? . . How's 'bout:

Let's see more of your 1:35th scale figure work . . . . Sam.

Bogey Boy, Brownlee :sneaky::sneaky:;);)

Excellent work on both the figure and the basework Sam, very nice work for 1/35.

Did you get my PM regarding the C96 you asked for ?

Steve

Hi all, thanks very much for all your comments I’m really glad you like the figure and the ground work, it’s always nice to get feedback.
I feel a little bed though as I’ve not commented much on other peoples work lately, but people have taken the time to comment on mine, so thank you.

sorry Steve I did get your pm just got so much on at the mo , but I will take one for a future project I’m planning , I will be in touch once things have settled down my end .

Thanks Sam B
