Here he is with his additional arm. Basically done except for the Austrian knots on the new arm. Hopefully he will be complete this weekend and I can start the paint.

Hi Colin,
Excellent progress, you have achieved a very natural looking pose, he could be sitting ready for a photograph. I bet if you done a black and white photo with that sepia tinge it would look like a period photo. You will soon have the Austrian knot done, keep up the great work mate. I really enjoy watching your pieces develop.

Thanks Richie - it will be nice to get him done. I pounded a lot of hours into this little guy but I also learned a lot. I always get really impatient at this stage as I want to see what he looks like in paint - always so different.

Done and primed. Shite photos sadly. I will have to smooth out a few rough spots on his sleeve lace but that is easy. I will start a new string for the paint job.
