Just had a look Huw he has made a super job of it, his hair is certainly more grey than i was expecting. Thanks for the link.

I read somewhere that he dyed his hair blonde.
I think it was in reference to a painting showing him before he dyed his hair.
On that basis, either colour should do.

I haven't had much painting time of late, but think I have managed to finish the bust once any oil based drying is done, but really happy with him.



Just the base and supplied name plaque to do next, then it's into the cabinet.

Many thanks Guys, it certainly took quite a time to do the lacing and shoulder belt but I'm certainly pleased with the end result.

Some progress this morning before I have to get a bigger brush out to paint a bedroom door.

Shading and some base colour before I put a blue base coat the jacket. Bonnet base colour and shading as well as cord and tassle.
