Howdy all. I've been away for a bit, but have still been painting. This is my latest - a 100mm flat Crusader from Andreas Troste and painted with Reaper and (some) Vallejo acrylic paints. The helmet and sword blade are the polished metal of the kit. The tiny little color pic I have shows a black cross, but I changed it to red to add some color. This is my second flat and, overall, I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out.

Questions and comments are welcomed.

Cheers,

Glen

Thanks guys. I have a 54mm 'Vor Jerusalem' vignette depicting three Crusaders up next on my flats-to-paint list. I'm looking forward to it except I've never painted a horse - in rounds or flats. Should be interesting. Not sure when I'll get to it; I have a round on the desk now and I'm learning (trying anyway) how to sculpt flats from putty.

Mike, this wasn't at Atlanta; I've never been to that show. I've been to SCAHMS in southern California a few times (back in the mid-90s) and the MMSI show outside Chicago back in 1984. I've been to Tulsa almost every year in the past decade. That's about it for figure shows.

Cheers,

Glen

Chris/Nicolas, thanks for the comments. Like I said above, I was pleased with the way this one came out. Shocked actually! Everything seemed to come together at once. Maybe the stars were in alignment...

Cheers,

Glen
