Basic painting.

I have finished basic painting.:)
I used NEGRO - BLACK for a black coat.
About the color of the basis of a uniform, (884. Stone gray. 879. Green Brown) was used.
I thinned these with water and blew.
And I blew the color of the belt and the pouch.
I used (884 and ivory).
Next I blew the color of the boots.
I used (70818. Red leather and black).
Next I blew the color of the face.
I used the Sunny skin tone.
And I blew a facial shade.
I used (70818, 946.dark red).
I also painted everything by blowing about a remaining part.

While being close, it's expected to begin to paint completion.;)

Hi Mitsutaka !

The basic colors are beautiful.(y)(y)
I look forward to the sequel.
I think this is the most beautiful figure from the Second World War theme.

Cheers.

László

Hi Mitsutaka,
I see that your technique is at least acrylic colors are stamped? Creating a sense of the texture of cloth and best way for the Art oils will follow.

Alexandros

Thank you very much, everyone.

Hi! Laszlo.:)
Thank you very much for your kind comment.
The details of this figure are amazing.
I think I might buy this figure.;)

Hi! Alexandros.:)
Thank you very much for your kind comment.
VALLEJYO COLOR thinks a feel of a material expression is wonderful.
I use oil paints about the fresh tone.
I like it about this combination.;)

Hi! Marc.:)
Thank you very much for your kind comment.
I'd like to contribute SBS as detailed as possible, but I'm not the good modeler who can tell everyone technique.
And it's tired from being whether it's to paint while taking a picture.
Thank you for liking it.;)

Hi! Tony.:)
Thank you very much for your kind comment.
I'd like to complete a figure in order to respond to your expectation.
Thank you for liking it.;)

Paint of completion (1).

I have begun to paint completion.:)
I have begun to finish a uniform off first.
I used the same one as a basic color about the color.
I thinned that with considerable water.
And I applied that a part of highlights.
This work was performed many times.
Next I applied a shade in the same way.
This used the color which mixed a basic color with the German gray.
Next I made them emphasize a contrast of a uniform using ivory.
And I applied a belt by ivory.
I also used a technique of a dry brush here.
Next I made the dry brush boots.
I used the color which mixed yellow with red leather.
I handled by a dry brush about this part.
I noticed a uniform becoming gray as of this near.
So I blew thinned ocher lightly by a hand piece.
An elbow and the knee are khaki which takes on blue about a uniform.
I completed it to there, and stopped painting today.;)

Hi Mitsutaka,

I'm very pleased to see your latest pics. They show your technique in great detail and that is very much appreciated.

To me the colour you have chosen to highlight the jacket and trousers appears slightly too white, and could perhaps be toned down closer to the original base colour. My fear is that you are creating too much contrast from the original base colour of the uniform. It may just be the lighting or the camera, but I thought I'd share my observation with you now, rather than wait until you finished and then comment.

Thank you very much, Tony.

Hi! Tony.:)
Thank you very much for your kind comment and advice.
You're right.
I think I should add Yellow and Brown a little more by setting of a basic color.
A picture may see a contrast highly.
I can't think a contrast is high about the real thing.
I think a problem of the nature of VALLEJYO - COLOR.
Anyway I think I'll do something.;)

  Mitsutaka:)

Hello Mitsutaka,
what an excellent figure you choose to paint,
your painting technique is unique,
looking with interest your progress,
regards, Christos.

Painting of detail.

Hi! Christos.:)
Thank you very much for your kind comment.
I think this figure is a wonderful figure, too.(y)
I'd like to challenge in order to respond to your expectation.:)

I have begun to paint a detail.
And I also advanced completion of a uniform.
If I correct a little more, I'd like to begin to paint a face.;)

Looking good so far Mitsutaka!

Careful how you title this one though, because I think 'Soldiers' made an error in their sculpting. To the best of my knowledge only the 82nd dropped into Normandy with the stars and bars patch on the sleeve, the 101st didn't wear it. If in doubt, check out Mark Bando's excellent website for the 101st here....

All the best,
Cheers,Jon.
