WIP 11th King Edwards Own Lancers 1908 bust

Please see WIP shots of my latest bust which I am currently working on. The bust is by JMD Miniatures and the detail is supurb. The lacework detailing is really crisp and there is little to no flash on this excellent resin bust. My only complaint is that the history and painting guide is printed a bit small and in French only but this can easily be solved with an optivisor and a French dictionary! The kit also comes with a monicle (two in fact in case one gets broken) which are delicately made in resin. I would have liked to have seen this in clear resin but never mind. If colourful uniforms and days of the Raj appeal to you then this is one for your collection.

Well, I've finally finished this piece. Hope you like it. The monicle was the hardest thing to get right as well as the turban lines but all in all, a very good kit and one that I recommend. Please feel free to comment.[
