Hi everyone, I am a newbie to the forum. This is my first posting to this thread. It is a Verlinden 120mm figure. I used a combination of enamels, acrylics, and oils. It is not my first or my most recent figure, but it is one of mine that I like a lot. I was trying for the 100 yard stare "look".

The map and mic. cord are from scratch. The base is from a local craft store. I tried to represent tarmac and there is a small cigarette near his feet.

Looking at many others here I know I do not measure up to the highest standards, but I still hope you like it.

v/r,

Ben

Hi Ben

BIG WELCOME to PF good to have you here

Thanks for posting , nice subject choice , Verlinden are what many started out with here

Like what you've done here , it's not a case of meeting any standards here on PF it's all about the hobby enjoying what you do

If I might suggest a lghter background to show figure up a bit more

Thanks for sharing

Nap

Very nice Ben. Like the leather and fur effects. My little lad recently picked up the Verlinden German Air Force General and it surprised me how well it still holds up to the more modern stuff.

Neal.

Excellent job Ben, and welcome to PF.
As Nap said, there is no minimum standard that you have to achieve to post your work here (that's me out for starters.. ) because I guess everybody here, simply enjoy seeing everybodies efforts. What I particularly like is that there seem to be no rivet counters here, and any "critique" is always helpful and gentle.

Thank you everyone for the kind words, and I will indeed look for a better back drop next time....

Till then, keep modeling!

Ben
