As usual a superbly posed figure. I think the bearskin needs a little more work, especially looking at the pictures/images posted above. The top edge at the back especially looks more Russian than British. Up until c.1805 the fur was brushed up, after 1805 it was brushed down.

Looking forward to seeing the finished figure.

Cheers Mike, the Fur is brushed up, I used this pic as reference, and I`m happy enough that it follows the cut, in other angles you can see he has it chopped off flat at the back like a privet hedge.

Well done Stu on a new path in 120mm.
You keep making new ground, still want the Grenadier v bust
The hands on this piece blow me away, they say a it is face and hands, the definition between knuckles is amazing.
I admit Moz does sculpt for me, but to me this is one of the best pieces I have seen and thanks to Stu a grand new era has been discovered for Stu and Moz,
I hope :)

Sorry if I mised it, but where can one purchase this amazing figure?
Rick it will be released by Stuart at Stormtroopers.
Thanks for all the info to both me and Stuart, Stuart has added a retaining strap on the left shoulder which he has the reference for...thanks Stu!

Moz,

I know that you love doing Brits, but I'd love to see you do a colonial Minuteman as a counterpart to this one. Any chances of that?

There is some great stuff from the 18th century and very little of it about, the SYW, AWA and Blenheim are pretty untapped periods especially in anything over 54mm. I hope this is the start of a series. The Napoleonic, Crimea and Franco Prussian Wars are pretty much done to death.
