I found this in the attic recently and decided to strip it down and repaint it. It depicts General Cambronne shouting whatever it was he did shout at Waterloo, and was sculpted for Verlinden by Derek Holmes.

Another beautiful painted figure by you, Peter.
Congrats!!! and Happy New Year!!!.

Cheers,
Francisco

Francisco - Very many thanks and a Happy New Year to you.

Mobo - Many thanks for your support throughout 2021. Glad you like this one.

Mike - Thank you.

Chris - Many thanks. Best wishes for the New Year.

Juha-Matti - Very pleased that you like him. One of Verlinden's best figures.

Morning Peter

Lovely work on a bright palette, very well done.

The Derek Holmes sculpts are so facially distinctive and nearly always teeth, which must have been so hard to sculpt.

And an attic re work too.

Looks like the heat wave will carry on for a few days more too.

Enjoy the balmy weather and Happy New Year.

Here's to 2022 and things getting better

Regards

Andy - Very many thanks.

Warren - Glad you like him. hank you.

Steve - Many thanks. Yes Derek did like open mouths - bit of a trademark. I'm waiting for our visitors to disperse before even thinking of starting the busts, so please bear with me while a tackle another couple of 120mm figures. A Happy New Year to you and here's to a less Covid-ridden 2022.

Hi Peter.
As sergeant Wilson would say its all rather lovely. At long last ive become a Premier member here.Bout time they say.Still lurking in the cheap seats.
All the best for 2022 and keep them paints flowing.

Cheers Michael. I once built up a 'last stand' diorama with the other figures in the range. I was looking at them the other day and decided that the poses were a bit wooden for me to want to strip them down and re-paint them.

Hi Peter

Bit late on this ...nicely painted as always , do like the white and the blue shows off your style well

Pleasure to see

Happy benchtime
