Another figure from me but 120mm this time. This figure has been sitting around for years waiting for me to finish it!!.I altered the flak jacket to a later version and used the etch brass wall front from the kit.The street was made in plastic and magic sculpt paving stones.Painting was oils for flesh and enamels and acrylics for his uniform.
Thanks for looking and best wishes to you all.

Hi David
Wow i like your version of the Firing line figure!!!,Absolute gem of a model.Ive got the other Firing line brit to do sometime.Am not sure what unit i will do maybe a Royal marine.Ive got a very old book on the British army in N. Ireland from Arms and Armour press which has some great images.
All the best to you from Richard.

Thanks, Richard. My example was bought (at cost) not long after I'd finished it by a colleague and now sits on his desk somewhere in Aldershot/Camberley...I've only done a few 'Brits' in my time, but given the quality of sculpting at the moment by Andy Cairns and others I may be tempted away from my usual diet of WW2 Germans...
Regards...
