Thanks Dano, great work with this figure. I really appreciate it. This figure was sculpted by David P. Ackerman. He is very, very good at what he does. There are 2 more figures coming from General Issue Resin Figures. One is a Mountain Man in 200mm, and the other will be a US Marine circa 1805 in 120mm. The Mountain Man was done by David and the other one was done by someone else. These were to be released by Commander Models 5 year ago but they never did anything with them. I purchased the moulds a year ago. They are both very good.

The US Normandy Medic in 120mm, and will be released under a new company "Minuteman Models". David and I have started this company with him doing the masters/sculpting and me casting and distributing/selling the figures. The first two releases for Minuteman Models will be busts. One of a Mountain Man, and the second of a Scottish Highlander, both by David. After this will be the Normandy Medic in 120mm. I am hoping to have all 3 of them available at AMPS East in Danbury, CT during late September if nothing else gets in the way.

We will offer many new and creative figures from 120mm to 1/16, etc. I have finally finished the new web site after many, many delays due to regular work/job duties/travel and I am looking at having the site up and running with the figures for sale starting on 10/1/2009. Now all I have to do it send it/upload it to the service provider and fix any problems I encounter along the way if I have coded anything wrongly.

We originally wanted to have things up and running by May of this year but as you know things don't always go the way we want them to.

I knew things were going to be off schedule with this new company project when a large 50ft tree cut my workshop in half back in April and it took the insurance company almost 2 months to pay me to have it re-done. Another month to get a contractor lined up to work on the shop, a month to have it finished and another 2 1/2 weeks for me to paint and get everything back into the rooms and here we are now in late August.

I look forward to sharing more of David's work in these forums once the figures are ready.

David. P. Ackerman is an amazing talent. I am very fortunate, and thankful to have been able to hook up with David and start Minuteman Models. I strongly believe it will be worth both of our efforts and give the figure painters many great releases.

Cheers,

Hey thats great Jose...

I actually have made a couple of minor changes to the figure since I took these pics. Also I'm not real happy with my effort taking these pics so I want to retake some and e-mail them to you for the boxart per our agreement. Thanks again bro!
