I had a lot of fun with this one and found a ref for him here, although the officers jacket is darker and with a standing collar, I have gone with the idea that when his was made there was not enough material left over, either that or I strip him again.
the ref found here http://www.libertyrifles.org/research/146thny.html
Any way I am pleased with him

Nice work Bob. I see now what you meant earlier about the braiding and buttons. Both look spot on in my book (y)

The job's a good'n Bob.
Very fine brushwork and despite the trend toward NMM I like what you have done with the metals here.
All the best
Keith

Thank you for the comment Keith,
this is the first time I have tried this with braid and I was pleased with the result but trying to get a convincing brass,I had to go back to metallics.

Wow Bob.

The vibrancy of the colour on this is terrific !

That red is as lovely as the blue is bright.

Cheers Paul.

Well done mate.

Missed this one! Marvellous job - vivid colours and lovely work on the braid.

Cheers

Huw
