150mm General Custer Bust

I had started this bust many months ago, but wasn't able to find the time, space or motivation to paint while I was moving/starting a new job. Anyway, I finally finished it this last weekend. The excellent bust was sculpted by the master Mike Good, and perfectly captures Custer towards the end of the war as a brevet general. The figure was painted with acrylics for the frock coat, collar, gloves and hat, while the face, hair and cravat were painted with enamels.

That's a well done bust. Is the paint wet when you take the pictures.

Thanks for the comments. Acrylics are a new "medium" with me. The paint is actually dry and some how I have managed to take a flat color from the bottle and make it shiny! :lol: Before I mount the bust on the base I will hit the clothing portions with a coat of Floquil flat...
