I'm hoping someone can help me out with a colour reference for the banner carried by this 30mm flat figure.
The description of the figure in German is Gardereiter. I've searched numerous variants of Polish Guard Cavalry banner and similar without any luck.

Just trying to be helpful, you know after all your "help" with starting my missus off on flats an all ;)

You can get them as transfers or decals as the youngsters call 'em these days mate just stick it right on that bad boy :sneaky:

My guess would be its this fellow here or something very close. Its a banner of Rzecz Pospolita like guys said earlier. I am sure there are simpler versions out there though.
You can also choose a simple coat of arms of some noble family to make life easier

:D No Dimitry your perfectly sane.
It's fairly common for flat horses to have more than their usual allowance of legs, it allows the painter to remove the extras to get different poses. It's particularly useful when you're using the same figure in a display or diorama.

Roger.

A difficult one my friend.
I have found nothing in my books, only in the two Osprey, but nothing that will really fit.
If you're interested I'll send you the pictures?

Cheers

Hendryk
