Well this is my first departure into this field . It has made a nice change from the varied tones of olive drab and field grey. Hope you like it ... I guess i am quite pleased with it. Its not as shiny as the pics suggest thats what you get with poor lighting !!! .

So maybe i'll do some tartan next .

I think you did a very good job on that.
the problems with the pics can I understand. Me too.
For me tartan is too difficult I think.

I like it, Ian. It's a neat subject. Go ahead and give the tartan a try. They are challenging but really can make a figure!

Nice job in the painting. The presentation might be enhanced by extrending the groundwork a bit outward from his base.
Does the canteen in the last picture indicate he needs deoderant?

Hi Colin , no it is with acrylics, Looks a bit shiny but its not really just the lights!

Need to sort my photography out...
