Sorting through some figures from a deceased collector at the Moment and came across a figure 180mm to eyes roughly and 200mm to top of Mitrecap, made of White Metal/pewter.
There is a Metal nameplate with it which reads Grenadier 1750.
Anyone have any idea from which company this was released??
Many thanks in advance
Pete

Hi Pete,

It's by John Niblett....he also did a British Musketeer and Pike man. The Grenadier was one of the first figures I ever painted, I had to save up for 3 months to buy the kit, it was £35. At that time large scale figures were very scarce. Nibletts figures are all beautifully cast in Pewter and superbly engineered.
