Superb painting Ron. It really made me smile.
Love the whiskers and grass stalk ... that finishes it off perfectly.

Cheers,
Andrew

I agree about grass stalk - lovely little feature. Having tried to sculpt something like that more than 3 times, nothing beats mother nature ;)

In a very non-purist way I really like this one.

Just to get that tune going around again;

Hi Ron,
No need to apologise mate, it was worth the wait I assure you. Mark is right, there is a lot more work in this piece and not as simple as it looks. I just keep looking at the eyes, they are so life like.

I'll probably get it for posting this, but who cares, he is now on the other side of the world and a verbal lashing I can take. We could have a caption competition on this one!

What I want to know, which one is the Roo and why has the one on the right got a startled look on it's face!
cheers
Richie

Strewth Doc you could have warmed your
hands up!
Well, I think the startled look is because he's feeding the roo at the wrong end, that's abuse right there ladies and gents.

Thank you all for your kind words and comments (y)....I am really pleased for Richie and Dimitri...that this piece has been so well received :)

Ron

saw this Roo with only his grey coat on up at the Edinburgh scale model event , it really is a fun piece.
Great painting as usual From Ron Clark .

Hi All,
I have just received today the Roo bust, painted by my friend Ron. I initially stated that I loved it........well I was wrong........having looked at it in the cold light of day and Ron's photo's do not do it justice. It's ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC, I really, really, really love it.
What an outstanding piece of work, you really need to see this in the flesh to appreciate just how skilled Ron's work is. I am even more proud that I now own an original piece of kagemusha (Ron Clark) artwork.
Thank you again mate(y)
cheers
Richie
P.S. it's now my wife's favourite piece.;)
