While searching something completely unrelated, I stumbled over yet another set of British Dress Regulations, this time those relevant for the early days of World War One.

You'll find 134 pages of text for all the orders of dress of all regiments and all ranks, plus 36 plates illustrating some of the items discussed for the year 1911. Then there are another 15 pages of amendments from August 1913.
A highly fascinating read...
